When asked “what can I get you to drink?”, you say:

I say, “Your finest mocktail!”

What is the book (or books) you’ve given most as a gift, and why? Or what are one to three books that have greatly influenced your life?

The Unexpected Joy of Being Sober by Catherine Gray.
This book was so funnily refreshing and inspired me to keep going on my alcohol-free adventure.

Within your sobriety, what is one of the best or most worthwhile investments you’ve ever made? (Could be an investment of money, time, energy, etc.)

The best investment I’ve made is precious time spent with my kids. I am truly present with them now. I’m not nursing a hangover in bed on a Saturday morning or rushing them to bed on a Friday to crack open the wine. I’m up early, fresh as a daisy making pancakes, laughing, coloring, or having cuddles on the sofa watching cartoons.

What is an unusual habit or an absurd thing that you love and only discovered after you got into sobriety?

Sober insta! I’m addicted. Such a great community to reach out to and connect with :-)

Which area has changed the most, and for the better, in sobriety: health, wealth, relationships, or spirituality?

Relationships for sure. I’m a better friend, work colleague, and partner because I am tuned in! There is no hazy fog. The conversations are real and not diluted by booze!

When someone asks you, “why don’t you drink,” what do you say?

I say, “Why would I? I’m a better version of myself without it! I do not need booze to have a good time. I'm happier, healthier, and loving life alcohol- free 😍”
