Tell us about yourself?

I’m a Midwestern babe navigating her ongoing Sober journey.
On 1/27/2007, I was in a drunk driving car accident with a tree going 90mph that nearly took my life and sadly took the driver’s life. Relearning how to walk again you’d think I’d live responsibly; however, I continued to drink.
I had a career in the medical field for 10 years and eventually lost it due to my alcohol consumption. After Ilotmy job I started getting DUIs. One after another. I figured already lost what I worked so hard for.
Why? All I can say is that alcohol had such a hold on my life. I have had several treatments, voluntarily admitted myself as an adult, but still wasn’t ready to stop.
My lowest point was when CPS took my daughters away for a month as I was unfit, in the laws eyes, to be responsible for them.
Today I am sober and I am proud of myself. I wake up and prove that sobriety is a choice. If I can finally kick this poison out of my life, there is HOPE for you. ♡
When asked “what can I get you to drink?”, you say:
I say, “No thanks, I don’t drink anymore 💙.”

What is the book (or books) you’ve given most as a gift, and why? Or what are one to three books that have greatly influenced your life?

  1. The Anxiety Healer’s Guide
  2. Rewire Your Anxious Brain
  3. Unfu*k Yourself
  4. Crystal Power, Crystal Healing

Within your sobriety, what is one of the best or most worthwhile investments you’ve ever made? (Could be an investment of money, time, energy, etc.)

Self care. I started a makeup business: SEINT.

What is an unusual habit or an absurd thing that you love and only discovered after you got into sobriety?

Crystals healing power✨️

Which area has changed the most, and for the better, in sobriety: health, wealth, relationships, or spirituality?

My liver health has been improving greatly, which is huge since this time last year I was diagnosed with cirrhosis at 32 years old. No more body covered in terrifying bruises, verge of death to healing itself is a miracle.
Spiritually, I have tried to make peace and own all the mistakes I’ve made and the people I have hurt in the process. I believe we are constantly growing as individuals and only way to keep growing in the right direction is choosing Sobriety.

When someone asks you, “why don’t you drink,” what do you say?

I say, “I have a drinking problem, that has tarnished so much in my life. I know I just can’t have one.”
