When someone approaches me with questions about their own relationship with alcohol or their curiosity about sobriety, I usually ask if they would like to hear my story. Sharing my own experience can be helpful in those situations. Additionally, I guide them towards non-alcoholic options we offer.
I assure them that they can still enjoy their favorite drinks, but with non-alcoholic alternatives. This approach allows for a softer transition and the opportunity to explore alternatives without pressuring them to commit to complete abstinence. Interestingly, some individuals choose to do both, drinking alcoholic beverages occasionally but opting for non-alcoholic alternatives in situations where they don’t want to continue drinking. It’s about presenting options and allowing people to make informed choices.
By sharing your story and presenting non-alcoholic options, you create a space for individuals to explore their own relationship with alcohol and sobriety. Offering alternatives allows them to make choices that align with their goals and preferences. It’s important to respect their journey and provide information so they can make informed decisions.
Do you have any thoughts or insights you’d like to share on labeling of non-alcoholic spirits?
It’s something that I feel strongly about. There is a lot of debate and confusion surrounding this issue. Personally, I started with complete abstinence and avoided even 0.05% alcohol content. However, as I delved deeper into research before launching Align Events, I discovered that different countries have varying laws and regulations regarding the labeling of non-alcoholic products and their alcohol content. I also took into consideration the needs of religious clients who required products that align with their religious beliefs.
Therefore, I decided to offer options ranging from 0.0 to 0.5 alcohol percentage. For the products I create myself, I ensure complete transparency and control over the ingredients and processes. I believe there is room for different preferences and choices in the market, and it’s essential for consumers to have access to transparent information so they can make informed decisions.
